The new centralized Barnes County North school building is now open. Students began attending classes at the new facility near Leal Monday, two months after administrators originally hoped to have the building open.

A Wimbledon home was lost to fire on the early morning hours Thursday.
At 12:36 a.m., Barnes County Dispatch received a call that a home, a single-stall attached garage, a single-stall unattached garage and a camper were on fire. according to Barnes County Sheriff Randy McClaflin.
