Shiloh Christian guard Gabrielle Wilkinson and the 38th Lions Class B All-Stars avenged Tuesdayâ€™s 79-68 overtime loss, in which they squandered a 61-56 lead with 1:35 left in regulation at the Bismarck Civic Center, with Wednesdayâ€™s 59-51 win at the Fargo Civic Center.
Class B led 29-26 at halftime and encountered a familiar situation up 51-42 with 2:30 to go, but this time the edge was enough.
Lexia Nix, 11, of Valley City, N.D., bowled a 421 on Wednesday to miss the Girls U12 cut at 83rd in the Junior Gold Bowling Championships in Buffalo, N.Y. Matthew Lyter, 15, of Sanborn, N.D., turned in a 676 to fall short of the Boys U15 Top 50 qualifiers at 184th.

Tyler Delmore's last known address was 135 Second Street Southeast, Valley City.
Delmore, 30, was convicted in 2005 of gross sexual imposition in 2005 and 1999.
In 2005, When Delmore was 19, he had sex with a 14-year-old girl. In 1999, when Delmore was 14, he had sex with a 12-year-old girl.
Delmore is an American Indian with brown hair and brown eyes. He is five feet six inches tall and weighs 180 pounds. He a lifetime offender and considered at high risk to re-offend.

Valley City's annual Crazy Day street fair is set for next Wednesday. Events are scheduled at various businesses throughout town from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., a new time set to allow those who work during business hours to check out the event after work. More in Wednesday's Times-Record.
When Russ and Misti Kauffman threw a party Monday evening and invited the entire neighborhood, about 50 people showed up for food, music and entertainment. The neighborhood block party was the result of an effort by Valley City officials to get residents to get to know each other and to "give neighborhood crime and drugs a going away party!"
After weeks of poor Menâ€™s Day weather, golfers were very excited to get back to the course and swing the sticks. Bob Matthews started the day off with a long putt on Hole 1, and won a prize sponsored by Bank Forward. Pizza Ranch sponsored the Closest to the Pin contest on Hole 2, and it was claimed by Alex Bitz. Jamie Wirth took home the prize on Hole 3 for Closest Shot from Outside 50 Yards with an approach shot that settled nicely to the pin. Wirth continued his day with the Closest Second Shot on Hole 4, and won a prize sponsored by Taco Johnâ€™s.

Nix qualified for Junior Golds in second at 722 behind U12 Girls champion Kaelyn Bergâ€™s 733 at May 3-4â€™s North Dakota State Pepsi Championships at Sunset Lanes 2014in Moorhead, Minn. Lyter took second with a 1,204 behind U15 winner Logan Dalbolâ€™s 1,258.
Dierra Diegel scored 11 points on 4-of-7 shooting, went 3-for-3 from the line and pulled down eight rebounds as the 38th Lions Class A Girls Basketball All-Stars erased a five-point deficit with 1:35 left, forced overtime and cruised to a 79-68 win Tuesday at the Bismarck Civic Center.
â€śItâ€™s an honor,â€ť said Diegel, the 5-foot-10-inch Hi-Liner forward who practiced with Bismarck Century head coach Ron Metz and Class A twice on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. â€śI donâ€™t remember the last time someone from Valley City was selected.â€ť
Construction work on the Interstate 94 business loop east in Valley City will begin on Wednesday, July 16 east of the city limits to I-94. Crews will be making asphalt improvements and constructing turning lanes, lighting and guardrails on the I-94 business loop in Valley City. Motorists should be advised of reduced speed limits, width restrictions and temporary lane closures.
Wolski Plaza Road will be realigned/reconstructed as part of this project. The realignment will provide safer access to the I-94 business loop.
