Andrew Miklas was sentenced Monday in Barnes County District Court to 8 1/2 years in prison for committing the arson that destroyed Faith Lutheran Church in Valley City in October, 2013. Miklas was also sentenced to five years probation and ordered to pay over $7,000 in fines plus restitution.
Miklas' accomplice, Nicole Lindermann, 19, of Kathryn, received a suspended one-year sentence and five years supervised probation because she cooperated with law enforcement.
