CCHD Moves Forward on Building

The City County Health District has chosen Bobbi Hepper Olson as architect for remodeling the current Valley City First Community Credit Union building to turn it into a new home for City County Health. More in Monday's issue of the Times-Record.

Open House at President’s House Guest Inn to be Held Dec. 14

The President’s House Preservation Society will hold a holiday open house at the President’s House Guest Inn on the campus of Valley City State University on Saturday, Dec. 14, from 2 to 5:30 p.m.
The President’s House has been decorated for Christmas, and the open house will feature refreshments, tours of the home and information about renovation plans.

Thanksgiving Covered for VCSU Students on Campus

More than 40 Valley City State University students on campus over the Thanksgiving holiday will be treated to a Thanksgiving buffet dinner at Vicky’s Viking Room restaurant in downtown Valley City on Thursday afternoon.
According to Kari Stricklin, VCSU director of student activities, the student group includes many out-of-state students and several international students, along with the men’s basketball team, on campus for practice prior to weekend games on the road.
