Valley City State University is sponsoring a â€śWhat in the World is Going On?â€ť panel discussion about the potential for residential and business solar energy in Valley City and surrounding areas Tuesday, April 23.
A question and answer session will be included in the presentation, which will take place at 7 p.m. at Epworth United Methodist Church.
The panel will be moderated by the Rev. Dayne Zachirson of Epworth United Methodist Church.
All students at Jefferson Elementary School met their On The Move activity goals, and will be rewarded for their efforts Tuesday and Wednesday.
Sharon Buhr of the On The Move program said Friday principals were given autonomy in setting goals, and Miller chose classroom and individual goals. â€śWe are excited all classrooms at Jefferson met their physical activity goal,â€ť Buhr said.

Nine local students participated in a state-wide coloring contest sponsored by the North Dakota Farm Bureau. Participants were supposed to create a colored art piece representing what agriculture means to them. Valley City fifth-grader Alexis Triebold was the state-wide first place winner.
