May 23, 2012

With summer just around the corner, things are beginning to heat up in the NBA playoffs, at least in the Eastern Conference. While it surely looks like the ageless San Antonio Spurs will face the up and coming Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference Finals, things are not so clear out east. As the Chris Bosh-less Miami Heat try to survive the Indiana Pacers, the aging Big Three plus Rondo in Boston, look to sneak by the opportunistic Philadelphia 76ers.

In both 2010 and 2011, when the sport operated with only one classification, the Falcons lost in a state qualifying game.
The girls clinched their spot at state Tuesday with a 21-5 win over Hillsboro/Central Valley in the semifinal round of the Class B South Region tournament at Tinta Tawa Park in Casselton.
