This week, out of the blue I was forced into a situation that had me either wanting to jump (not for joy but off a cliff.) I felt like I had been stung by a billion bees when the news hit. Barnes County Social Services is still looking for volunteers to fill tags on the âWe Careâ Christmas tree that is set up at Shopko.
Katie Pommerer, human service aide for Barnes County Social Services, told the Times-Record that the tree is an annual campaign done by Social Services during the holiday season that contains gift wish lists of needy children the community, and the community can fulfill those wish tags.â
Michelle Deitz, human service aide, said there are still plenty of open tags and distribution of gifts is next Wednesday.
